Words du jour

If you are wondering why 'banns' is the title of this page.. Then here's the why..
I thought 'words for the day' would be apt.. but that was already taken and so was 'words of the day'..I am just maintaining this blog to have a list of the new words, that I come across while reading books. Today, while searching for the worlds top 50 restaurants.. came across 'du jour' menu.. meaning 'for the day'.. so after all, I should have tried calling my blog.. 'words du jour'
