Ashreshteh
Its quite a chance that of all the words like Fesenjan and Barg, its the soup that made it to the title.
Its a story too. I do not know whats the catch in order no. 22 , but it is as good as a no order and sap of energy. After being at wrong end of the line for a while, I got a small scrip of receipt with a 6 digit number ending in 22. I got this readability only a little while later, when a guy after me in the line, wheeled away with his order when 23 was called. At first there was really a flurry of activity. Stacks of filled pure white to g boxes. 19, 21 and so on. We saw a box filled with what could hae been fesenjan and asked if that was 22. There were two women with their aprons saying 'team members'. Oh yeah, they were team members of the 'treat 22 like the new 13' club. First I appealed to the older lady, but all she had to say was that 19 was the running order, then she got busy to take new orders. I can understand the part of getting in orders. Doesnt bother me if you are in the building business mode, but then the food bar fell silent. So I thought this could be the time for 22, and I asked the younger lady, and she just said a no for 22. Even in English, what does that mean? 'You are not a Persian speaking guy, so go starve?'. I was more than happy to go try ashreshte, that I had my eyes on an earlier day, when I passed by the soup lane.
It lives up to the mystery of its name. Wholesome Choice.
