Regarding some paperwork, I was shuffling around a lot for quite a number of days. I avoided going to a lady, as she looked very troubled all the time, and I didnt want her to feel worse, especially when she did not have info as the 'rules' in question were 'in the making' . My papers seemed to have known the way to 'Burmuda Triangle'. I was interested in finding out their trail. Finally it was she who said that everything was fine were they are.. as long as the papers have entered an untraceable, chaotic cosmos.
Pot-no-luck
Today I was going to work for the first day after the break. The rst of the colleagues had planned a pot-luck. If I had to do the hours, i would have to stay there for long, aroung which the pot-luck would take place. But turns out that I couldn't begin today.. and then there was no pot and luck.
As unplanned
Today I had to make certain calls, to clear up a matter. I did not know , in which order to go about it, as they seemed very related and it seemed that info gathered from one conversation would make the next more informed. The first call, was denied as nobody picked the phone up. the second after lots of transfers, went to this voice message which was neatly and slowly worded and made me think that the speaker spoke like a lady , I met in some meeting. I didnt make the third call, as at the end of this I had no info to relay to the third. Also, the news that I was going to convey, is better done in person.
Murphy stroking his ego...
Usually, I check my mail at home, before leaving for the lab. But yesterday, I couldn't do that. And I realised from a mail , that I had to go home for a cheque. How is it that I seem to not have checke d the mail at home, when it would have helped me?
Please take your seat!
Can you recognise a person by seeing them from the back, if you have always seen them sitting in a chair?
Today I was taken aback, to find that the person I was looking for, was right in front of me, and I was still looking around.

Words for the day
A Dozen Notices.
When my roomates check the mail box, shared by four of us and find that one of the girls has a 'recall notice' from the library every day, they almost reach their tether's end. The library must be worried that their shelves look empty cause our house has a carton with books from the library. The librarian's concern is legitimate. I was going through one of the books and found one on architecture, which surprisingly had a picture with a pile of books in it, which exactly is what my house is filled with right now. This roomate of mine, who also happens to be in a job which includes putting mails in the department slots. She told me that I had mail and it wasn't important as it was from library. Beat this, the library always sends notices with 'IMPORTANT : LIBRARY NOTICE'.
when I checked the mail box today, I found a dozen notices, actually a baker's dozen counting another guy's notice which came into my slot by mistake and I assumed it mine. so no exaggeration there. I was like thank god, my notices dont go to my home address.
